Tinternet Gmail help please

I recently splurged out on one of those new fangled mobile internet dongles. All works fine, good reception etc. Apart from I cannot access Gmail through Firefox from my flat.

Strangely I can access Gmail through Safari and I can also access it through Firefox in other locations using the same dongle. Whats going on?

Despite knowing a little about computers and stuff, this has me baffled. I've tried turning it off, and I even tried turning it back on again. Yet, still this didn't fix the problem.

Help would be much appreciated from people in the know. Tanks in advance

I'm on a MacBook. Only bought it at the weekend, but just been to Birmingham for work and it worked fine up there in my hotel!

Have you checked that all the settings in Firefox are correct ? There's a long list of snags with using Firefox under Windows and I very much doubt that it's any better on Mac. I would check 'help' in Gmail for possible causes.
