The office was great and Extras is good as well. In many ways though they were great not just because of Gervais but simply brilliant writing. I sometimes like Gervais but quite often I feel that I am watching David Brent not Ricky Gervais.

The Les Dennis Extras episode is one of the best bits of TV i've seen in the last year.

Agreed, if not longer - I actually preferred Extras to the Office, although I loved both. The other episodes were bloody good too.
