Time to switch more Withdean games to Friday nights

I have felt for a while that whilst at Withdean we should try and play a few more games on a Friday night.

Our record at Withers in the evening is frankly amazing and miles better than the Saturday afternoon stats. I can understand the club not wanting to lose the Saturday afternoon habit as we approach Falmer, but what harm would it do to move five or six home matches to a Friday night. I know we have one enforced in December, but I really think the club, the team and the supporters would benefit from this.

Think of your best Withdean experiences, best Withdean atmosphere and I bet most will be from evening games.

I'd rather they don't. Travelling down for evening kick-offs is a bugger, and pretty rules out taking my son along with me.

I hate Saturdays when everyone else is playing except us. Friday night games GREATLY increase the chances of me being dragged round the shops or having a little trip up to Crawley. I'd rather watch us get stuffed out of sight on a Saturday afternoon than go through that.

Absolutely not!!!

Football should be played at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoons.

Evening games are a massive problem for supporters like me that travel 160 miles each way to home games. Many Albion fans still support the team even though they have moved well outside the area for work or family reasons.

Saturday afternoons are for watching football. Nothing Else. Friday nights are the first night of the weekend and should not require attendance at Withdean.

I completely agree, we should have far more froday night games. They are just much better and like Southen do, would mean that we get higher attendances as many people would rather go and watch premier league teams on a saturday than be at Withdean. It would certainly boost attendances, which could be a factor in us getting more home wins. Surely worth a try every now and then

How about EVERYONE getting behind the f***ing team - whether its Saturday, Friiday Tuesday or a f***ing Sunday??

It doesnt matter what DAY it is its about SUPPORTING THE TEAM FFS!!!
