Time to switch more Withdean games to Friday nights

Football should be compulsory for all teams at 3.00pm on a Saturday. I do like the atmosphere that an evening game generates. However, as a season ticket holder living in Somerset I can't attend evening games. On a Saturday it takes us 2 and a half hours to travel but on Friday it can take an hour more. Therefore not possible with work commitments. I end up giving up my season ticket for all evening games and hate it!

Yeh, play on a Friday - but don't tell the other team! Let 'em just turn up on the Saturday and find the game is over and they've lost 30-1 (well, our defence is a bit dodgy after all!)

Don't agree with this at all. Harty muted this a few years ago after we won a Friday night Park and Ride match. In my opinion it makes us look like a small time club trying to avoid clashing with another near neighbour.

Surely within the next 5 years Crawley and Eastbourne will adopt a Friday night strategy to avoid clashing with the mighty Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturdays or maybe even the 4pm Sunday kick off. You never know!

Evening matches at Withdean are (relatively special) but should be kept that way. The answer is not moving more games to evenings but rather the team to learn how to win in front of their home fans. Football should be played at 3pm on a Saturday or 7:45pm on a Tuesday, anything else is a gimmick.

I am sure that there are many children, our next generation of supporters, who cannot attend evening matches so for me it is defintely a no go. As has been said all football should kick off at 3.00pm on Saturday which was normal pre Sky TV.

I hate Saturdays when everyone else is playing except us. Friday night games GREATLY increase the chances of me being dragged round the shops or having a little trip up to Crawley. I'd rather watch us get stuffed out of sight on a Saturday afternoon than go through that.

I agree when Spurs and Brighton dont play on a saturday my life feels empty

Last night was clearly a better atmosphere than the normal dull Saturday. I am not saying we should switch all games to Saturday, but another three or four selected games would do no harm.
