I hate to sound unsympathetic, but if he wasn't fit to play, he shouldn't have done so. He's only a fringe player, so it's not like he's hard to replace.

Leon's work rate contributes a massive amount to the team's overall effort, plus his dying-swan act every time he's tackled has all but gone. He's been doing what's been asked of him. It's hardly Leon's fault that the club seem unable to secure the services of the kind of non-trolley target-man that every other club at every other level seems to be able to get hold of. CKR might well be one for the future, but he's not one for this season.

No one disputes Leon has made great strides and has earnt his place up front this year, and fully deserved the honour of the captain's armband at one point. But, alas, this is about as far from the point as you get in figuring out why he has not done the decent thing and made peace with McGhee.

But let's be honest, he will in the next few days, we all know it, it just still takes Leon a bit longer than your average pro for the penny to drop.

Well observed. If truth be told, due to restricted online access, I'm none too sure why they've fallen out in the first place. Too many threads, too little time (big cheers if you could point me in the direction of the definitive post that sums it up). My fault for sure. So that's my contribution stuffed then. I would say tho, that the manager will always have the last word. So Knight's going to have to bite the bullet at some point, or ship out.

There was an injury being treated and MM was shouting instructions from the dugout. CKR was paying attention but Leon turned his back on MM and ignored him. MM decided to sub him and Leon then threw his strop.

Same with Adam Virgo last christmas wasnt it when his father died in terrible circumstances. I dont recall it affecting his ability on the field. He acted like a true professional.
