I honestly don't know how to answer this question right now. As someone else said, this season could be anything. I'm surprised to see us so active in the transfer market - our team will look pretty different next season, and of course we have a new manager and that's always a "could go either way" situation at first.

So I think the most "correct" answer would be a 5, as I'm kinda in "wait and see" mode right now. But that doesn't feel right, I'm definitely more excited than that.

Ten only because we could be heading into a season with the bore Potty in charge 😂Signing wise have we only signed one first team ready player? The others seem like young prospect players who may or may not struggle in the PL at the moment.

We are signing lots of youngsters, we need a couple of experienced players especially in defence, and another midfielder,
then we will be ready to go

Yes, agreed. I am currently very nervous. Excited, yes, but definitely nervous. As you said we really don't know how it will pan out, and whilst I admire the optimism of all those who have gone high there are just way too many unknowns for me to join in.

I actually went 4 as I've become more naturally pessimistic as I've got older :(

I align 'mojo' more with 'excitement' - it's not (for me anyway) a prediction/reflection of where I think we will finish. Exciting new manager and the recruitment team smashing it out of the park for both the first team and academy..............fantastic stuff.

I'm never quite sure what "first team ready" actually means. But i'm pretty certain both Minteh and Wieffer will be in our matchday squads come August. Or that's the plan. So two.

As for struggling in the PL then who knows. Ansu Fati struggled . Dahoud struggled. You never know.

My mojo is pretty high. A solid 8/8.5. An excellent off season so far. Exciting manager acquired, transfer window off to a cracking start, the latest rumours are all about decent players too. Training has restarted for those not involved in international tournaments, it's nearly go time. Hell yeah the mojo is doing just fine right now.

10 for me, looking at Chaileyjem line up squad on an earlier post.
Unknown is how quickly can FAb get everyone one the same wavelength?
Think it maybe different to recent previous seasons. Slower start but improving as season progresses.

Zero. England are in a major tournament semi final TOMORROW.

Couldn't give a monkey's about Brighton right now. Ask me again at start of August and I'll be right up for it.

6 too many unknown quantities going in to the new season. It could be great, it could be mediocre.

7.4 trending steadily upwards after an all-time nadir of 3 at the start of close season.

Considerable jump on booking Everton tickets & travel - yay football's back.

New manager and players are always exciting times.

Will probably go up again once the Euros are over, as the pre-season friendlies will be a bit closer and the next football to look forward to.
