I’m still on England mojo

Quietly pleased with recruitment progress and FH though. Less pleased about Gross, but understand it.

A “ticking over” 6 for me until we get nearer the season.

8 - felt quite fed up when RdZ left…..

But good appointment, and some numbers on the playing side.

2 or 3 more and we’ll be doing well.

If Mitoma leaves it will plummet
This too. Three wingers in says March broken and / or Mitoma off after Japan.

Happy with the summer signings, just another RB if possible and then of course shipping out 10-12 players and we look set for an exciting season.
Looking forward to it but not much of a mojo when there's still six weeks to go or something... I'm saving my mojo for later.

10.

Obviously it will dive for a bit when Pascal leaves - but that will bounce back if we adequately replace him.

I've still got fingers crossed that we offer a bumper improved last minute deal to him of course.

Rather than a left winger like Mitoma being off, I think it more likely Adingra may move on. But most likely on balance is that it means March has had a setback and won't be playing before Christmas.

Looking forward to football. However pensioner with plastic ticket sitting with two adult sons. Hard work last season, apparently harder this coming season to allow friends to go when one of us can`t go. Think we will have an empty seat fairly often !!!

Five. This coming season could be anything
Yep, this close season feels different somehow. Yes, normally we lose/move on a couple of players, and bring in one or two ready-to-go players (not necessarily direct replacements, but first team ready) - in recent years for example Pedro, Pervis or Cucu, previously the likes of Gross and Propper; also we'd likely be bringing in a couple who'd been waiting in the wings, on the fringes waiting for their break-out season: Jan Paul, Wee Billy, Enciso. So, the team would look like last years team, but with a few new faces, hopefully improvements, but still recognisable.
Now, with Gross gone/going, and other long term stalwarts - Veltman, and dare we even suggest Dunk, coming to the point where they might not be starters every match, and long term injury doubts over Lamptey and March, not to mention a new and unknown (to us anyway) manager ................. next season's team could be pretty unrecognisable from the Albion of last season. Hopefully that'll be a good thing - the last few months did look a bit like the end of a road in many ways.
Going for five - hoping it will be better, but also with a little voice saying I hope it doesn't turn out worse.
