I’m going to take DFP Jr to his first men’s game at the Amex soon, but I don’t particularly want him to come into the NS with me purely because he’s only little and won’t be able to see over anyone as I’m in the standing section. Obviously I can buy him a seat elsewhere but what about mine, I guess I can list it on the exchange but will I be able to purchase another for myself?
I’m not sure if I’m overthinking this, if anyone can point me in the right direction it will be much appreciated.

Just phone supporter services once tickets become available and ask them to find you two adjacent seats elsewhere in the stadium. Your season ticket-linked seat will be vacated for that one match, though you might have to pay the difference for your new seat assuming it's in a more expensive area of the stadium, and you won't need to worry about your usual seat selling on the exchange.

Worth noting I don't think this method works once tickets sell out and the ticket exchange is activated.

The above is all correct but I just have a couple of tips from experience!

1. Write down the relevant STH/Fan Numbers so you have them to hand.

2. Find the 2 tickets you want and put them in your basket so no one else can nab them.

3. Phone supporter services and explain you want to move your season ticket and purchase the other. They can take the tickets out your basket.

4. Have your card to hand as they will take payment for the ticket and any uplift from ST cost to the value of the new seat.

5. Tickets will then be emailed.

Did this the other day to get some family along to the Brentford game on 27th and fairly painless if you have everything to hand.

As everyone above says, supporter services are generally excellent and will sort you out.
