Priority should be given to those who sat on the cinder track around the Goldstone on the night Glen Wilson led his team to their first promotion out of Div 111 actualy it was Div 111(South):lolol:

I think I might be sorted - Googleads has spun me up an advert for 'Bristol Ticket Shop' at the bottom of this page - I'll pop in tomorrow and see if they have any for me.

It's not hard to get tickets in their end. Aside from this weekend they've never come close to selling out. A few friends who are banned by Leeds have brought tickets from Southampton t.o and had them posted to Leeds addresses. The Soton t.o aren't too bright, or either just don't care.

f*** me, some people need to get a grip and stop whinging all the bloody time. Who gives a hairy bollock if you didnt get a ticket? If you're desperate to go, try and find one through mates of mates etc, or just go in the southampton end. It's simple.:)

When people are complaining they are handicapped about the post service, I'm still not sure of the relevance of tickets going on sale 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years in advance...

Special D - £4.00 GUARANTEES delivery the next day. If for some reason it doesn't arrive, at least you'll know, if you bother to check with the PO the next day.

The main problem the club have at the moment is that they do not have the resorces to run the kind of policy that other clubs run.

We did go down to Div 4 at one stage but at the time we signedBobby Smith from Spurs who 6 months earlier had been playing for England. I think that we paid £5k for him plus some betting debts etc.

That is like signing Alan Shearer now.

I think he may have been joking that your three written in Roman numerals looked like one hundred and eleven.

Anyway I like your 'Glen Wilson, promotion match' suggeston. I would also add that prority should be given to anyone who can produce a programme from the 1966-67 season, as dougdeep said us old 'uns have been fans longer and in any sane system we would be given priority over a bunch of pesky kids with too much time on their hands and no family committments.

(I am joking before someone picks me up on it. I know NSC doesn't 'do' irony).

I was wondering when we would get our first ticket system is not fair thread. For the record I got the 17 tickets I needed for this game, simple arrangement I email through the details to my mate who works 5 minutes from the ticket office and he drops the application off at lunchtime. Works well. However it does require being organised.

However I do not think the ticket system is fair and I do think the most loyal fans should be given priority. The simple way of doing that is the club announce before a big game that those that can produce stubs from certain away games get priority for the big game. Before some smart arse pipes up with not all games are all ticket, the fact that you are meant to sit in a designated seat means that even when you go to a pay on the gate game, they give you a ticket with a seat number, so this system is easy enough to do. Now I suspect a system like this would not be overly popular with all on here as it is fairly obvious that not many on here are regular away travellers, which is fine, but I do feel the club need to give some benefits to those that go to all the rubbish places.

I have said before, but the fairest system that I have come across is the one that the FA use via Englandfans to distribute tickets for England away games. 70% of the tickets are allocated to those that have the most loyalty points and the remaining 30% go into a ballot to all those that applied for tickets but did not get them via loyalty. This system means that the most loyal are rewarded and yet the rest still have a chance to both see the game and work their way up the loyalty ladder. I suspect a system like this with the meagre resources in the ticket office would be hard to implement, but it does sort of keep both parties happy.

Did you sit on the cinder track?

What is your view of the theory that the match was fixed?

Not quite sure what you are getting at here young man.

To those who posted earlier in the thread, I know both the lady's who work in the TO and lets get something 100% clear..if you get your request in for tickets early enough you will get a ticket.

Roxy and Julie work their arses off for what? For the abuse some of you so called fans heap on them down the phone? Would you put up with half brain neanderthals swearing at you down the phone? Is it their fault you cant get tickets? Some twat even had the gall to blame the ticket office at the time of the Spurs game when their application didnt arrive....of course they are responsible for the post isnt that obvious...FFS

If you cant get a ticket bad luck

Hang on a minute mate, I was nothing but polite to the lady on the phone, in my line of work i know you get nowhere by being stroppy and I never am, I have no idea why you are trying to imply anyone directed any abuse at the woman, where did I say that?. Ive phoned that ticket offfice many many times and never got this girl so assume she is also new, and Im sorry mate but she was f***ing unhelpful and rude! I work with customer service and she could have easily helped me and couldnt be bothered.

Im not moaning about not getting a ticket, thats tough luck but it isnt asking much for some decent customer service is it? Oh sorry because you think you know her you seem to think shes allowed to be unhelpful?

Like I said they have always been great in the past, but I put the phone down yesterday pretty f***ing angry.
