few people been talking about so called part time fans but just 1 thing i would like to say is that the club is always the first to complain about fans not turning up to the withdean but the season we played at spurs me and my dad attended 16 away games and 3 at the withdean i no not alot but we do live in huddersfield, i no there are many who go to even more but i would still say i feel that is good support so when we applied for spurs and got no ticket to say i was dissapointed is an understatement, and after reading comments on here about people going who had never been to a game and women more interested in talking about the cheapest supermarkets than watch the game its a joke, i no we have the away scheme but they realy should come up with a decent loyalty rewards scheme which rewards the die hard away fans and the season ticket holders 2, thank you and moan over!

Instead of just commas, try a fell fullstops and if your feeling really experimental maybe even a paragraph.

I like the scheme they have at Reading I think.. where an away game counts as so many, and the more you save the higher your standing for 'high demand' matches.

At Leeds away tickets are sold in order to - away season ticket holders, then home season tickets then any that are left are sold to Leeds United Member Club members. Our tickets never go on general sale, you have to be a member (£30 per season)

It works pretty well.

For cup games we have the auto cup scheme where you sign the form at the beginning of the season and then for cup games tickets are sold - auto cup members, season ticket holders and then members if any are left.

It works pretty well I think. Our games are split into three batches though. From Monday we can apply for all away games through to Norwich away (Feb 3rd) so shoot one email off with the games you want on it from now until Feb and it's done.

Agreed. Ignore the comments about commas and full stops. I guess it must be hard living up North. :)

I do think that a loyalty scheme is a great idea.
For example:
1 point for every home game
2 points for a localish away game (anythink south of watford and east of reading counts as local)
3 points for other away games

Once this has been going for a few years then your score is all the games the albion have played in the last 2 years to the current date. So for example if you were applying for tickets today your score would be what you have collected since and inclueding the crewe away game (16/10/04).

its a nice idea but with hindsight how many games do we actually sell out nowadays

and even if we do , usually we only sell out a few days before the actual match , giving those who want tickets plenty of time to get them (exception in the previous years were the Reading 0-0 game , West Ham 1-0 and Spurs 2-1 - and again most of those if they happened again probably wouldn't have as many people after tickets)

the only away match this season i can see being a sell out is Orient away.

The club for example could make the boston game a 2 point loyalty game to entice more fans to go, most games aren't sold out but a scheme should be in place so that spurs away shouldn't happen again. The likelyness is that the schyme would hardly need to be used which would be good for supporters as everyone would be able to get a ticket, but if it help sell afew extra tickets for games like boston for fans to get extra points then its worth haveing in place

1 point for Withdean, surely we want to encouarge people to go to Withdean more then spending their money at clubs like Forest! We need to encourage more people to go to Withdean, as like many I would prefer to go to away at a big club then go to the Withdean! But maybe if I would gwt something (more points) then it would encourage me and many to go to Withdean rather then wasting my money elsewhere!
