Cheers for that, will go in tomorrow and get mine. Still not sure if it will be on, is it supposed to warm up next week in that area?

I'm buying mine on the day. Walsall have the worst record of postponements in the league.

If I didn't live so near, I'd be ding exactly the same. The Sun never actually falls on a fair bit of the ground during the winter months, I am told, making it almost impossible to thaw if the ground freezes. Stadium design fail.

The local rag up here is reporting that the West Midlands will see icy tempratures for the remainder of January. It was minus six in some parts last night...

I went into the ticket office at dinner time to get a couple of tickets for the youth cup game, and the hairy glasses bloke was fielding questions on the phone from some muppet about villa tickets already. He said they'd had a string of similar calls all morning, we had a laugh about it but I think he was a bit pissed off with it already.

Same here:clap:. If it is called off can i get a refund on tickets bought before the day? Never had that problem before so just wondering?

you can, or just use it for the rearranged fixture. Last season I, along with a few others, made it to Birmingham to watch Walsall vs Brighton, which was called off about 11am.

We couldnt get tickets for Villa, or some random division 17 game (Coventry Pheonix) so stayed in Birmingham drinking with morris dancers

I then used the ticket for the rescheduled game, where got thrashed, but the social club outside the ground sold plates of baked beans for about 70p

Thanks:thumbsup:
Seems a bit weird that you buy in advance and pay a booking fee and postage, or pay on the gate and pay £2 per ticket. Its not much but never had that problem in the past couple of years.
