It was smashing it down in Hove around lunchtime, had to delay my trip from my desk to the COOP
I dont wish to get political, but I emailed my local councillor today, about the prospect of replacing lost trees in the road, which drink lots of rain, provide shade etc. . I think the benefits are well documented. . . . We've had 2 more cut down this week and one fell today, they're old . . . This last summer the cooling effect was incredible. We need more, and a tree lined street is a gem.Had to drop off some work gear for recalibration in Shoreham around midday, absolute stairrods - went to Sainsbury's to fuel up a few minutes later and lots of the car park access roads under water.
At time like these I'm glad I live on top of a hill and not the bottom!
A few rumbles in Findon this afternoon. Had to blame the dog.
Were they biting on the Arun today?Just back from fishing on the river near Henfield. A few rumbles of thunder and some very dark clouds about in the last couple of hours. Absolutely lashed it down on the way home
Well you know what they say about these small towns and villages . . .Flashing in Storrington…not unusual apparently
No idea. Was on the Adur, the Arun is miles awayWere they biting on the Arun today?
