How can it be that when we play on a thursday night, have the only domestic game on, that we still end up with another shite ref?

The standard of refereering is deteriorating rapidly.

He was utter shite, but I honestly don't think he was biased one way or the other.

El Abd fouled their bloke on the edge of the area in 2nd half, before we broke for an attack.
Twat missed it.
Elphick handball in the box first half.
Twat missed it.

Obviously I saw many more go against us, but I don't think it was biase. Just shite.

Someone make a note of all three wankker's names, so we know when we get them next time.

Tried everythin in his power to make us lose, well thats how it seemed anyway. Too many decisions which he bottled in my opinion.

Gus was losing it at one point........thought he was going to get sent to the stand !
The officials were a disgrace......how is it that the league has so many officials that are crap at their jobs.
Id be sacked if i continually got things wrong, time after time as these wankers do....they just continue to turn up ,week in week out, and ruin our football.
AND you cant say a damn thing against them . Unbelievable.

He was, for a while, on the FIFA list and therefore eligible to ref international matches. God help us.

Utter nonsense. Ball bounced up and hit his arm, absolutely no intention to control the ball whatsoever. Ref saw it and rightly didn't give it. About 10 seconds later exactly the same thing happened to one of their defenders and he, rightly, didn't give that either, so they can't complain it was a pen.

This was, though, about the only thing he got right in the entire evening.

Somebody should take a private prosecution against these clowns - & do 'em under The Trades Discription Act.

No, I think there was an awful lot more that he saw. The only problem was he was giving decisions the wrong way!!

If it bounced up and hit his arm, bearing in mind no-one was near him, it should have been a penalty. 'Ball-to-hand' or 'no intent' is not a defence against a free-kick or penalty going against you.

But back to those bent officials, even in the Leyton Orient game - some of the most perverse reffing ever - at least one of the officials seemed in control of his faculties. Tonight we had all three being utterly incompetent.

- Bennett got booked because Harding stood up quickly
- Jaidi didn't get booked for trying to take Crofts' head off. All he did was tell the Brighton layers to sod off
- Didn't book Dean Hammond (2nd time) for well, being Dean Hammond
- Spoke to Lambert about some afters, then does nothing when Lambert goes and lamps El-Abd five seconds later

True there was the El-Abd clothes-horsing their fella in the second half, but the bentness was generally one way. :tosser:

I've just given up on refs at this level. Every single week we seem to see examples of gross incompetence. It has become the norm for this level of football.

The thing is, it's not much better in the prem. That one last week where the ref gave Blackburn rovers a pen.

a: It was never a pen, Olsen has even come out this week admitting he took a dive

b: As he has given the pen, then the 'keeper who allegedly fouled him should been red carded. It was a clear goal scoring opportunity. The ref didn't even book him.

In that situation, there is no way a penalty could have been given without a red card being issued.

Booked Murray for diving, which was fair enough, completely ignored Barnard when he did a 9.5. Didn't seem to have any control over the game, the linesmen didn't exactly help him either. For Murray's booking the south stand one gave a corner then changed his mind when told to do so by the ref

Same lino that gave the offside then got bored and embarrased of being ignored by the ref who gave them a throw. Lets not forget hes reffed in the Prem, done Championship playoffs and was on the international list for a while. Top stuff.

I thought he would swap shirts with Lambert at the end. Thats if he wasn't already wearing red & white stripes under his ref's shirt.
Oh & could he have given them any more freekicks in dangerous positions?

Don't wish to piss on your parade but he did book Barnard, after play had stopped.

Doesn't detract from teh fact he is a total wanker of a ref. Sitting in C their freekick at teh end of teh first half they scored from looked a blatent dive. :censored: I could have reffereed with less incometence!
