Floods in Caterham. A couple of doors down from me was flooded with a foot of water in the house.

My wife saw the police with nets retrieving carp swimming in the road. Lighting strike hit a tree which when through a house roof, Caterham valley was closed for an hour and to cap it off the Police Station was flooded.

Apparently Blatchington Mill was struck by lightning today - right in the middle of one of my friends' daughter's GCSE exam.

Saw the storm coming over Cissbury Ring to those of us in Findon.

The first lightening flash was bloody close as the thunder followed immediately, and very loud. Hailstones coming down now and the electricity quickly dropped out and then came back.
