This xmas hot present

Sorry if this is fixtures - but I've just been into HMV and bought the last Nintendo DS Lite in the shop: the two people ahead of me in the queue also bought one and the woman behind me was cursing because I got the last one and she wanted it.
Hot cakes in an otherwise rather dull Christmas market.
I seem to remember in previous years the hot gift was Buzz Lightyear - which was a helluva lot cheaper!!! And cabbage patch dolls more so....

mrs starry has left me with a list so i can help father christmas out and get some bits for the kids and this iggle piggle dancing thing is like gold dust in the shops. ended up getting one from ebay for only about £8 more than it is in the shops.

Hello Kitty mobile phone, not the expensive Jap one but the £20 version, Daughter wants one and sod's law dictates so does everyone else!
Last year it was a Pink DS lite.

Also a decent Transformer, didn't bother getting one as son wasn't that interested, he went and saw Father Christmas recently and what did he ask for!
