Greggs - obviously for the sausage rolls
Maccy D - double sausage & egg McMuffin is a hangover cure essential
Pizza Express - they accept Tesco vouchers

Wagamamas.

Everything else should be burned with fire, buried, dug up and burned again.

McDonalds - for the coffees, especially at hideously expensive motorway services, where they are usually the only place you can get a coffee for under £2.

Greggs - again, a service station godsend - bacon roll and a latte for a couple of quid - the start of a great many schleps up the country for work.

Pret - because I like it.

Without bringing in politics around bad owners and envrionmental issues, I'd have to say:

McDonalds - Like the breakfast. Cheap coffees and smoothies.
'Spoons - Not the best atmosphere for a pub, but they sell decent beers for not very much money. Breakfast is decent enough too.
Pret - I quite like it. I rarely come back to the UK without popping into a Pret for lunch and/or coffee. They're opening one in Toronto soon, I'll be interested to see if it's the same.

The first Wagamama that opened just off Tottenham Court Rd in the early Nineties was genuinely ground-breaking and even in the early 2000's it was quite a "cool" place to go for people who weren't actually cool. Not been in for ages as being passed from one venture capital firm to another rarely does much for standards.

Anyone been recently?

The one at Gatwick Airport and on North Road were both fine before lockdown. Not been in one since.

Pizza Express.
Frankie & Benny’s
McDonald’s - only because I like the McFlurry ice creams.

3 on the list I’ve never used and a few I haven’t been in for many years.

I couldn't imagine feeling so much anger and hatred towards random food places that I am seeing here :lolol:

Nandos
Greggs
Spoons

If I'm hungry enough I'll eat at any of these though, not really fussed if needs must.
