Hampshire v Kent at Southampton

Lancashire v Warwickshire at Manchester

Both Kent & Warwickshire are fighting to avoid relegation, so should be putting up a good fight.

This week could go a long way to seeing where the title may go.

Current table.

If we can avoid losing this week, and get the same bonus points as Durham, I would say that almost puts them out of the title race, as we would hopefully pick up enough points from the Worcs match.

If we do that, it will hopefully be enough to as good as eliminate Yorkshire as well.

Good to see the weather won't interfere but tosses are going to be very important.

It's always important to have a good toss before the game :jester:

I reckon as long as we avoid defeat to Durham and push for the bonus points we're in with a great shout of retaining the title

Yorkshire are already as good as out of it - can be backed at 100-1 with totesport according to Oddschecker, while Durham are only a little shorter at 20-1.

Any news on whether Lankies are going to get a points deduction for last week's debacle in Blackpool?

What time is the toss and what is better for us - bat or bowl ?

Personally I suggest bat and post a big score

Almost certainly right Mr Hut, but impossible to call without looking at the pitch and conditions.

'If in doubt, bat' has its merits, whatever the conditions though, especially if you have good spinners to bowl in the 4th innings.
