This weeks CC1 games, all Aug 21-24.
Kent v Worcestershire at Canterbury
Lancashire v Hampshire at Manchester
Surrey v Sussex at The Oval

Come on Sussex. Now's the time to get some form. It's all in our own hands

BTW, if you're planning any trips to the Manchester area between these dates, please ensure that you have enough supplies in your car as you can guarantee what the weathers going to be for those four days (make hurricane Dean seem like a gentle summer breeze) - bless 'em eh!.

That's what I like to see - true sportsmanship :lolol:.
good point... I personally am hoping for unbroken sunshine at Old Trafford so that the finest players in the country can go toe-to-toe in a fitting battle for the championship...

Murali v Warne
Law v Crawley
Sutton v Pothas
Cork v Mascarenhas

a mouthwatering prospect...

(if Sussex can avoid defeat at the Oval then that should ensure our Div One status for another year - coupled with qualifying for the Twenty20 Finals that would be a fantastic achievement by the players and coaching staff...)

I think our match will be a high scoring draw.

I really don't mind if it rains all week in Manchester. All those players you list could still go toe-to-toe anyway. They could arm wrestle, or play Ludo or something.
