The participants are giant lizards from outer space (out to murder us all), faking it as humans, according to David Icke & millions of like minded conspricacy theorists.

i think he actually refers to other entities that are able to manifest into this reality frequency - still off the button, but hey, there is no relevance to this post. This is exactly what the sun and mail want you to think; "oh bilderberg meeting, those nutty CT's will be at it again, ill go and mow the lawn." lol.

....amid the usual media black out.....but this year a guardian reporter has done a blog about it.

Bilderberg 2012: the technocrats are rising at this year's annual conference | World news | guardian.co.uk

should rename it to build-a-borg ;-)

nothing to see here, move along.

Is there really a media blackout? Or is it just that, with all due respect, it's just another big corporate bore-fest that nobody pays any attention to? What's different about this one (I've never heard of it, but then I don't generally take much notice of big business)?

ah the Bilderberg, the secret meeting of the worlds movers and shakers, which is so secret we know every year where it is and those attending, and previous attendees talk openly about it when asked.

no interest != media black out. and if the Guardian is covering it, where is the black out?

It's reach folk having a conference. Poor people do it too at working men's clubs and bus stops but no-one gives a shit.

then why the years of lies about the meeting itself and its attendee lists, and lies from attendee's themselves? if you seriously think this has not been attempted to have been kept secret you really need to do some more research - only a few years ago did this meeting really get out, and its hardly as if the guardian headlined it - it was a guardian blog.

queue responses of "nothing to see here, just a bunch of businessmen meeting up, everyone knows about it, and if anyone says otherwise they believe in lizards." lol.

Why am I not even vaguely surprised as to who started this thread?

Some interesting attendees this year. Maybe it's just me, but the thought of some of the most powerful people in the world meeting in secret kinda doesn't feel right...and makes me a wee bit nervous to boot...especially when the mainstream media hardly gives it a mention! Just seems a bit odd to me, but then again, thats just my opinion!

Dude, with respect, don't we live in a world full of opinions? Ridiculing people for what they believe just isn't right imo, live and let live! Maybe your best bet is not to post on any of the op's threads if they piss you off that much? Just a suggestion like!

Peace

was there years of secrecy? maybe low key before the internet, i heard about it in the mid/late 90's, and members have spoken about it in the 00's. for a secret club we know an awful lot about its history: the location of every meeting, the founders, their stated purpose (if you choce to believe or not), the membership down the years. really the only secrecy is what is discussed, theres no official coverage, no media interviews in the grounds of where ever they meet. its funny because i have no idea what is discussed or decided by the attendees of the Lord Mayor's Banquet, or any state visit dinner, but no one seems interested in inventing conspiracies around them as they get thrown a bone or two before and after.

oh my god, John Major went when he was a nobody - soon became PM, same with Blair, Clegg, and Cameron

so being the Chancellor of the Exchequer, or leader of a major political party in the UK is a "nobody"?

If they really wanted it to be a secret they would be able to. They clearly don't care who know about it and if it was so important to be secretive why didn't they re-organise the whole thing when they were "discovered"? Such utter flummery.
