It is. And look how that ended up. Relegation, despite a remarkable fight back under Stevie C.

A replacement is needed before its too late , League 1 is staring the club in the face if we're without a manager who can extract the best from his squad.

It's nothing like Hinshelwood. Back then we had a League 1 side in the Championship with a rookie manager losing every match, and to honest with that bunch it was no surprise. This lot should be higher in the table than they are, we're below sh1te like Leeds and Rotherham FFS.

Yeah, identical.

Tinselwood didn't have a cup run , so both managers both have 2 League wins under their belt.

Some would say some of our current squad are only good enough at League 1 level with a rookie manager employing the wrong tactics.

Yeah, identical.

Come on. Why include the cup games?

Why not face up to the fact that no win in 11 is rather similar to Tinselhead's win-less disaster?

Against the mighty Burton, Swindon and Cheltenham. Idiot.

Yes, Burton who'd beaten Wigan and QPR in the previous rounds.
Yes, Swindon who dumped us out 3-0 last year.
Idiot.

I included cup games because I didn't have Hinshelwood's separated into cup and league.

You want just league?

Under Hinshelwood we slipped to bottom of the table and got further from safety as every game passed with 0 points gained, with a team that simply didn't have the quality needed to survive in the division.

Under Hyypia the draws and the extra league win has kept us out of the relegation zone so far, and if we do drop into it we will still be in touching distance of safety. We have a team that has the ability to succeed in this division, that has in flashes shown an ability to play really well. If we change manager we will have a massive chance to stay up. We also have the chance that if we stick with Hyypia things will come good on the pitch. Either way we could end up comfortably safe, and come the end of February even have some of our more optimistic fans working out what combinations of results we need to sneak the play offs.

I am not trying to argue that everything is rosy, that there is nothing to complain about and everyone shoulld just be happy that we even have a club to support given Archer and Belotti. Those sorts of arguments are as ridiculous as the extreme negative ones.

There are plenty of things to complain about without the need to twist your stats to add the cup game v tottenham to our winless run while ignoring other cup games, or drawing inaccurate comparisons to Hinshelwood.

It's way worse than Tinslehead. Look at how much money has been spunked on this side (relatively) compared to back then. This management team cannot use the training facilities and stadium as an excuse either. At least Tinslehead had a bit of an excuse.

Sorry Sami, the honeymoon is over. Do the decent thing and resign tonight.
