Easily the best drama series by a country mile.

I did wonder if it would follow the same pattern as '86.
As the first programme was reasonably light with moments of humour. I'll assume it will, and we will be descending to hell through half of tonight and all of Thursday.

lolly is really going through bad times and her acting was great couldn't help but feel really sorry for her poor kid. It really does get the northern way of life back then right though. Pretty good so far, look forward to next one tonight.

I agree although woody is my favorite his acting is superb and it is clear that he is unhappy and wants his old life back. Jebus best thing on tv by a country mile

the part with lol and the nurse was outstanding acting. Amazing.

Best drama in years how many moving scenes in one episode , lol meeting combo in prison and lol talking to nurse , even felt sorry for smell at the end my god she's bloody ugly though , can't wait for conclusion tomorrow night and then this is England 90 in the summer .
