This film looks shit

On the plus side: Michael Mann's films are generally good (with the exception of Collateral, although you can blame that on Cruise).

On the fence: Colin Farrell is generally crap, but as Muzzman says he was great in Phone Booth.

On the down side: I saw the trailer last week and it looked utter, utter, utter shit. Probably just an ego trip for Mann since he produced the TV series.

Result: probably money well saved.

I've not seen Alexander, but it can't be any worse than that ROME series on BBC a few months back, where all the romans spoke in cockney.
