think the reference to "a couple of players, one a household name" came in one of Adam's interviews with the Argus a couple of weeks ago
Leicester, was released in January.
I've heard Yeovil are also interested in him though so he might be waiting for them to make him an offer?!

certain posters on here are certain the club have already agreed deals with 2 BIG names to sign on August 1st
certain posters should put up or shut up then. If they are "insiders" they wouldn't even be at liberty to discuss such issues on a public forum.

If it the same ex West Ham player with whom Bobby Z and Sheringham got a caution he is at present in the dock being tried for attempting to pervert the course of justice, so wouldnt think anybody will rush to sign him until that is sorted.

I was surprised he was released from West Ham but there would be many prem clubs interested in him still. No way is he moving to Brighton in the near future, would love it though!

Which club is this big name signing for as I can't imagine anyone we could afford is going to get "kids talking about in the playground" unless they're taking the piss whilst strutting in their Man U or Chelsea shirts.

But thats all part of the pre-season fun isn't it? The transfer rumours, some believable, some incredible and some just down right ridiculous!!
I am sure that there are people that post on here who do know certain information but can't disclose it for obvious reasons, but like to give us a little inkling of something big on the horizon, whether it is to make themselves look important, to give us a little something to look forward to with anticipation or just to tease us!
Then there are others who have absolutely no idea and just start chucking randon names in the hat to stir up interest and makes it look as if they are 'in the know'.
Whatever it is, it all makes it exciting and generates a heck of a lot of posts on here, so that must be good musn't it?
