Third umpire ‘Clear gap between ball and bat’

I’m sorry, what? I’m not saying that should have been overturned as it was very close either way but there’s no way there was a ‘clear gap’

There was a definite small spike on the right hand side of the ultra edge before the ball hit the pad. I’m not saying it was definitely the bat...

What an arrogant prick this commentator is. I'd shove a bat down his throat

What a spectacle test cricket has become, absolutely pathetic.

Home advantage? Fine.

Unfit pitch, inadequate for 4/5 days play? Totally wrong.

From what I can work out, if India take 13 overs or less to get the runs, this will be the quickest Test match to be completed with a result in 86 years.

You've got to love First, so much intensity and determination, so watchable almost as entertaining as the test match following his expressions, so passionate for his cricket.

It is still possible. Would be a reasonable gamble, we only need ten good balls after all !...... I do think India will win, not at a canter though, they should win by 6-7 wickets but, it won't be easy !

Clearly deviated yet it took the third umpire about 20 replays over three angles and the player didn’t think he’d hit it.

Nothing you've said there alters the fact that it deviated off the bat...?

For anyone logging on and checking the score of this day/night match I can confirm we are in an interval and that England are in desperate need of a hero. The situation can be summed up thus:

Dinner
Dinner
Dinner
Dinner
Batsmen

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..

Wasn't there a test match a few years back that ended early so the two teams agreed to play a two day game to fill the time ?

I remember Sussex once playing a three day game against Australia and turning it into two one day matches after the first was washed out.
