I dunno, you get up at 6am to watch the boys and they produce one of the least imaginative bowling performances you've ever seen. Have they not learnt that on these pitches you've got to mix it up and not just run in and bowl short of a length to players like Butt and Akmal? You know for a fact that when Pakistan bowl they will bowl slower ball after slower ball and throw the odd yorker in. We're into the 26th over I think and there has been ONE attemtped yorker and that was put away for 4.

Jimmy Anderson needs to f*** off. I know he's not played a lot of cricket but that doesn't excuse the amount of wides he's bowled.

Does it?

Yours,

Grouchy, Brighton.

Sussex, by the sea
obviously quite hard judging by the inept display thus far

this tour is obviously a tour too much this year, I get the impression the Ashes players are just treating it as a pre christmas holiday and pay bonus before christmas

Probably the best we got at the minute. Needs confidence though.

Without watching a great deal of cricket, why has Kirtley fallen so far behind? I know he has had his action pulled up again this season but he was the star in the south aferica series a few years back and had an average close to 11 at test cricket.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
He was mysteriously dropped from England team after a fantastic cameo against SA and won the match for us.

I think it is probably something to do with Vaughan wanting his boys in. Very clique.

Harsh but an element of reality there.

Anderson is a knobber. Lat over, that went for 23, he bowled one slower ball and didn't concede a run. The rest were normal pace and in the slot and he got creamed.

Kirtley would have done a better job out there, if only he wasn't a chucker.

I do hope Anderson doesn't get another contract. Hopefully, with Plunkett coming through we'll finally be shot of him.
