Having excelled in finding things that'll irritate me this season, I've opted to also look on the bright side...

Things to look forward to:

Virtually non-stop football until summer 2005!!!!! Oh yes!

Feeling like a bigger fish in a smaller pond again, as our travelling support take to the road again (really looking forward to another awesome turnout at Ashton Gate, within stumblin distance from my new house)

3 in 4

A BIG FAT YES FOR FALMER

Leon Knight and some other new faces signing for the Albion?

A quite interesting selection of away trips - QPR, Bristol C, Sheff Wed, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Plymouth, Wycombe, Peterborough, Luton, etc

Pompey v Southampton - okay nothing to do with us, but will be good to have some Premiership focus on the south coast and think it'll be a spectacle, or simply a full-scale war!

Beckham at Madrid - what with Gazza's injury I'm looking forward finally seeing an English player cuttin the mustard abroad

Wimbledon's move to Milton Keynes being a complete disaster, the club folds and businessmen get the message that you should never take a club from its community

Bobby Robson lifting the Premiership title

England crowned champions of Europe, having outclassed Arsenal (sorry France!) in the final

There are just four clubs in this division that still have terracing, and Blackpool are due to go all-seater sometime this season

Things I am loking forward to:-

LOFC getting promoted and I dont care how.

BHA getting relegated by March.

Another good cup draw. Will we get Spurs (scum), Newcastle or Everton this year?

Beating Sarfend - again.

Drawing BHA in the cup and signing Scotty Mac just for this one game.

Spurs sacking Hoddle and bring back George Graham.

Spurs going bankrupt and all their yid scum fans crying.

Playing Brentford

I always look at the Brentford fixture with dread, probably one of my most visited away grounds and Ive never even seen us pick up a point there. Adding Coppell into the mix might work in our favour this season, fingers crossed!

I like trips to Brentford but haven't actually been since 1989 when I went twice - for the league (1-1) and the for 2-1 FA Cup win when Garry Nelson scored the best goal of his career and one of the best I've ever seen from an Albion player.

It's a top little ground though and we always take loads.

That place is cursed. Have been humiliated there a fair few times.

Point taken, Fatboy - but I can't get away with it at home games, as I sit in the North Stand.

As for Brentford, don't forget it's where Nelse scored that fantastic goal in the Cup game, so we've seen some good stuff there too. At least it's a guarantee of a good turn out and a pint - pub on every corner, remember. :drink:

Wasn't there an article in the Argus some while back saying he'd hung up his lighter?

Shame the season hasn’t started already! Agree with all the above and also Bristol away and Peterborough away.
