The Swimming pool and park is quite nice, the countryside that surrounds it is nice too. There are a few nice golf courses if you play.
Southwater country park

Edit: Beaten to it.

If they've just painted the bandstand in the Carfax, you could always go and watch it drying.

And Horsham Park is quite nice, the grass grows rather slowly but it's a delight to watch on a sunny spring day.

Seriously if you want a decent cinema and leaisure centre then you're better off heading to Crawley. And Jimbo the countryside in that part of the county is imo pretty outstanding, rolling wooded hills punctuated by dairy farms.

Cinema at Crawley is definetly better but I don't think the leisure centre is: Pool at Horsham is better unless you really want a diving board

If you have any experience helping football clubs campaign for new stadia, there's plenty for you to do in Horsham.

It was a much nicer Town when I arrived from Oop North in 1995 - many privately owned small shops - used to spend Saturday morning in the second-hand bookshop off Piries Place and then go and have a pint of K&B whatever in the Old Stout House.

Sadly the bookshop has gone, as has King & Barnes, still way preferable to Pikey Central Crawley and although Worthing and Chichester are as close to me nowadays it is still my favourite Sussex town.

The Malt Shovel and Horsham Cricket Club having no small impact on this opinion!

Which to return to your query are good things to visit, as is Beer Essentials in East Street... :drink:
