Firstly - I love my football and I love BHA......

But I find it hard to get too emotional about the managerial / club/Dick Knight saga that has been at the forefront of almost every thread.

I worry more about:

11 week old baby being ok
Keeping my job in finance
Wondering whether the missus is coping with days on her own on laternity leave
Watching the value of my house plummet
Sitting in the car at 5am every morning going past Clackett Lane thinking what disaster awaits the market today

The Albion used to be such a relief - even in the dark days as perversley there was almost more positivity in those days then there is now.

I almost feel tempted to just walk away from football at the moment as there are so many people intent on bringing this club into the depths of despair.....

Dick Knights done a pretty good job - you disagree that;s up to you but you think someone else can honestly ahve done better and acted with our best interests at heart then I cant agree.

It seems that some people are happier when they have something to focus all their misery and inadequacies on and vent their spleen on this great football club.

Whats the point in trying to achieve anything if snipers and whiners win the day.

Their own short-comings should be drowned out by the strength and sound of thousands......but I just fear that the sad minority are louder than the true BHA fans.

What's a person to do?

Hard to get worked up much about the latest management-go-round and the insipid names on the shortlist. Have also, in a very short space of time, grown exceedingly bored of the name 'Jim Gannon'. Dullest name since 'Tom Brighton'.

Just treat football for what it is, a distraction from real life.

Do you still hate cockneys btw?

Too right. Many on here ought to hang your heads in shame. What ever happened to that old adage - if you haven't got anything good to say, then don't say it at all.

People are too reliant on the Albion to determine their moods, atleast that's how it seems to me. I am quite detached to be honest, if the Albion win, I am happy. If they don't, that's a shame but that's life, it's a sport, you can't always win. My attitude towards football is very different to alot. Which is why I've been a "home" supporter at 3 different clubs this season, Brighton (obviously), Tottenham and Swindon. I've been an away fan at Swindon too, funnily enough! :lolol: And might have to be an away fan at the Withdean when Swindon visit, or smuggle her into the south stand and tell her to keep quiet when they score!

NEVER. That's the whole reason we still have a club to support.

Keep the faith DT, people like Withdean Wanderer, algie and the like will NEVER win the day all the while positive people like you continue to exist.
