Personally, I wasn't a) laughing at them or b) somehow implying that it is a bad thing to support them. I was merely suggesting that in my opinion, they are mediocre. Clearly, however, giving a simple (and fairly benign) opinion makes me a dick.

You can be all mealy mouthed about it after the event but the fact is you were unnecessarily aggressive and rude. Absolutely. Despite the "rivalry" we had for a time there with Orient, I've always really liked their fans, as that is true committment to your local club, as it would be very easy to convince yourself that actually West Ham is pretty local, that could class as "my local team" and off you trot to watch them. It's not even as if there is a some flashy glorious past to Lord over people with. It is entirely a support based on location, and that has always endeared Leyton Orient fans to me.

Had a good day seeing Orient play Posh last April... Jarvis netted in the 6th minute of stoppage at the end of the match to win it 2-1.... Supporters were class, I think it was just a novelty to them that a Canuck was watching the O's
