Cant believe some Dickheads on here Simster Brian Fantana, no doubt your be the first to have a pop at fans supporting 'PLASTIC PREM' clubs, but when someone supports Orient you take the piss out of how shit they are.

My team Brighton and Hove Albion were once tin top always have been the whole time I supported them, dont be a pair of dicks and forget where we have been for almost the last 20 years. Banter or not, it shows no class.

I take your point mate.

However, the difference being is that when we were tinpot, we knew that we had the potential to be something much more. Of course we will never forget what we went through and we will never lose sight of how lucky we are to find ourselves in such a position now.

My first season at orient was 78. Semis of the cup, stable in what is now the championship. I still believe that with vision we could progress but we have a parasite as a chairman.

I totally agree, i love that we are a club on the up, after years of piss taking, we are showing what a great club we can be.

However teams like Orient keep going regardless of getting a brand new shiney stadium and will only have a fanbas of 7,000 - 10,000 max. to them that club is still going to be great.

I never thought id see Brighton hit the heights we have, but I deff would not of stopped supporting them because of it.

What do you believe is the greatest day Orient could ever have?

Do you think you'll ever see Orient sitting pretty 4th (or better) in the Championship for example?

You're not important anymore so can't flounce like you used to and threaten and abuse. So you can go f u c k y e r s e l f s h i t f or b r a i n s

Good point well made.

I like they way you say WE will never forget where we came from on a thread where some have already shown themselves up for dismissing Orient as a club in such a crass way.

I enjoyed our rivalry with Orient and I have nothing against them as a club. And there's nothing to suggest we won't renew that rivalry one day - especially given the likes of Sheffield Weds and United and recently Southampton and Leeds finding themselves in League 1.

Sorry to say it, but your day has come. Safe (ish) mid-table, 3rd tier team. I think that's pretty close to your ceiling tbh.

To be fair, that could have been a perfect description of us three or four years back. Who's to say Orient won't find their own club loving minted sugar daddy one day?

Firstly, can you explain the above - as you've completely lost me. In terms of the bizarre little world of NSC, I'm still as important as they come. Not that it matters one jot.

Secondly, it was a serious question, asked with no malice or piss-taking and out of genuine interest. I'm surrounded by Bristol Rovers fans who are very much down on their luck of late although, like you, are hoping for better things under an ex-Albion manager.

But, you've largely answered my question to someone else - I wasn't aware that Orient had, not too long ago, scaled quite impressive heights and I'm pleased you believe the same is obtainable again.

to be fair you and I have a previous so I took your comments in the usual smug way. If that was not the intent then I'll take it back and apologise.

I admire any fan that supports a team like Orient, one with a bigger team right on their doorstep. Living in that area it must be so easy to support West Ham.

As for how far Orient could go. Unless West Ham go under, then its a season or two in the Championship, with a cup shock or two.

Nothing wrong in that and at least Orient pay their way.

Good on you Ilikecandles
