So there's me thinking that I'd rather like to see Beth Rowley at the Old Market in Hove so I checked the ticket price. Now, £13.30 is quite a lot anyway but if I was to book online I'd be charge a £1.75 BOOKING fee then a £2.00 TRANSACTION fee.

SO I'm not actually paying 13.50 at all but in fact I'm paying £17.25, which is a LOT.

What a bunch of shit all those fees are, I still don't quite understand how they get away with it.

*****.

It is ridiculous. If you book online there is no way to avoid these fees so they are essentially part of the ticket price and should be factored in overall, not tacked on in the hope that people don't notice.

Chappers you are indeed BANG on. Thieving c*nts.

Much like c*nting AIRLINES, like C*nting RYANAIR, who charged me SIX £2 transaction fees, when I made a SINGLE transaction to book the SAME flights for six PEOPLE.

Which firm was it?

f***ing seetickets. It's not just the charge that annoys me with them tough, it's the fact that they are useless fucks who couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

I paid a flat £125 for secret garden party tickets this year and it was SO refreshing to pay one amount that included everything, even p&p.

Oh I know, I was just really interested in how much just a ticket would be. Then i decided to see how much it really cost off the interweb to see if it wa worth it.

Rounder still charge a booking fee though innit.

With ticket master you have to pay them £2 to email you the tickets. Email is free and you pay for the paper they are printed on so why??

I went to the thing at Aspinalls wild life park in the summer and that was the same £80 all in. No booking fee, no transaction fee and no postage because you printed the tickets off yourself (something that ticketdisaster offer now but still charge you for the privilege!).

As it turned out the festival was shit and we left Sunday morning but well done them!

Supply and demand. If everyone tells them to stuff it then they would soon have to rethink.

About time the Government got involved and stopped them charging spurious admin fees for tickets which aren't even sent out or printed by the agencies.

These companies are taking us for a ride. Must think we're all bloody window-licke..... oh..... hold on....
