I guess it's possible to narrow down the search area using information on the currents passing Reunion, if this is part of the lost plane

I find this really strange I mean how many of these planes actually go missing? Surely they must have a record of all the planes that have crashed and have a list of those unaccounted for...can't be that many can it?

Unaccounted for 777s? I'd say the list has one name on it.

The equipment that found the Titanic was developed with US military backing and was later used to find the missing US Nuclear sub that went down in '63 during routine training exercises. The team behind it developed a technique for finding the missing sub/ship by looking at the debris field and working backwards - it proved very successful. If this is a part of MH370 then it shouldn't be long before they find the rest.

I think it was taken by an alien craft to study human people and see if we were worth contacting, or just looking at, like we would look at butter flies through a microscope.
