Of the games we have in Jan and Feb we will be lucky to take a point from any one of them as our squad currently stands. Its a bit early for extra seating and an academy which will be expensive to run and maintain if we can`t afford a decent team.It looks like we will be in a relegation battle by March.IMHO:albion2::albion2::albion2::albion2::albion2:

The expansion of the stadium will provide more income for the club, the academy/training complex will provide better facilities for the squad, both will mean we can attract a better quality for player. We've been on our arse as a club for over a decade it's not going to be an overnight transformation into being able to sign ex premier league stars. I'm sure Tony Bloom has his budgets carefully managed, he's a master poker player, maybe some of that is coming into effect here. Publicly say we've not got much cash to splash so we don't get ripped off by clubs and agents during the window.

I hope your right, but the seats will only generate income when they are full which they will not often be.

There would have been at least 25k there today if we had the seats so expansion is needed.

R-tard.

It's not just an academy. In the history of BHAFC the club has never had a proper training ground. When new signings are weighing up who to sign for they can look at the training facilities at Sussex uni, then look at the state of the art training grounds which belong to our rivals, who do you think they're going to sign for?

Tony Bloom is slowly setting us up to be a top club, a run of bad form isn't going to stop that

Relegation battle??????

We have 35 points already!! so if we need a pessimistic minimum of 53 points to stay up, then that's 18 points or just 6 wins now needed...

Surely even the most gloomy can foresee a measly 6 more wins this season?

I wouldn't consider myself the most gloomy (but I have been following the Albion for over fifty years), but I would be really surprised if we can't muster six more wins
