There's definitely WHITE circles there. No doubt about it.

It's the BLACK ones that are the illusion.

Indeed JEM. Still looks bizarre though. I saw a poster of this in Virgin, with about 20 x 30 squares. I think I'd go insane with that on my wall.

No Chesh, they're circles. The way they're placed inside the corners of the squares gives the illusion that they're octagons.
