After worying that I may not actually pass this test it occured to me once that I did pass how ridiculously easy it actually is. I only started looking at the theory questions 2 days before the test and managed to pass with ease.

This got me thinking is there actually much point in this, maybe it should go back to asking a series of questions in the practical test (I was told this happened before) Maybe they should increse the pass rate even higher? What are everyone elses thoughts on this?

My results: Questions: 48/50 Pass rate: 43/50
Hazard perception: 57/75 Pass rate: 44/75

I did quite a lot of looking at questions for it thinking it would be hard and cruised 49/50 and 66/75. Even though it was easy I think there was still a point to it otherwise I'd have never bothered reading the highway code!

I never revised my car one as i got my dates mixed up.Got the required pass mark.
Hgv one i revised quite a bit and got one wrong. If you revise they are easy.

The hazard test is a joke though.

It's easy because the subject matter is easy, memorising road signs isn't exactly rocket science. But it's things you do need to learn so it has to be tested somehow.

I think it should be a pass mark of 50/50. It's ridiculous you can get 7 wrong. That means you couldpass but still don't know what these mean.

and before they introduced it you could still pass and not know what they meant. The test isn't perfect but it is far better than nothing!

Got 35/35 in the old style test. Never needed to do hazard perception.

I don't think young men should be allowed to drive until they're at least 21 anyway :p
