Gilliver's Travels
Peripatetic
Goes to our man from The Times, who said:-
"The Withdean Stadium evokes a second-rate American high school complex"
So uncannily right! That spot-on comparison was surely inspired by Withdean's US-style, Education Dept-approved, on-site Pub. Or was it perhaps our beloved stadium's inbuilt treat for any American lardarse parent, the two mile automobile total exclusion zone?
The Pulitzer Prize surely cannot be far off for Mr Tony Evans.
Maybe we should compile, for posterity, a Hall of Shame for the worst examples of Withdean description. Any more examples?
