OK, the midlife crisis, sorry, Panini sticker album has been purchased but I'm still struggling to pin down a sticker pack outlet in Clerkenwell. One grouchy newsagent said he didn't want to sell them "because he didn't want kids rummaging through the box all the time" - the festival spirit of the world cup is clearly coursing through his veins already.

He said he could order me all the stickers if I wanted! Yeah, cos that'd be fun. Anyway, I guess the online swapping frenzy can soon commence. It's going to be REAL.

You'd all better hurry up as I have over 100 swaps ready!

Don't you worry, once it starts it won't stop. I'm hitting Smiths tonight and I'm on a mission.

If you haven't already bought the album you can get it free with this week's Beano (80p) plus one free pack of stickers. I'm sure there weren't so many shite teams to collect back in my 80s youth - Ivory Coast, Iran, Korea, Croatia, Costa Rica, Trinidad, Serbia/Montenegro, Angola, Togo, Saudi Arabia to name just ten in the current album I could do without spending my hard-earned on!

They still make Top Trumps afters my man. Just bought three sets myself - Football Legends, Little Britain, and Postman Pat.
The wife's bought Postman Pat top trumps today for Simster Junior! :lolol: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

And the young lad will be getting his first panini album tomorrow morning, like it or not.
