Haha, stand up comedy at it's best. Surely this is a joke? You telling me both your full backs are better than Ward who is likely to win POTY? Puncheon who has proved himself at Prem level for Saints and Palace wouldn't get into your side? You've got players better than Joe Ledley and Tom Ince? And then there is Murray...I don't need to say anything here. This has made my day

Christ, I forgot about Tom Ince! Another player that would walk into the Brighton side who can't get off our bench.

Oh behave. Stop living in the past

Both people and organisations are the products of their past. If you cannot see that what Crystal Palace have done, in terms of (mis)managing their finances, has given them a massive advantage over Albion then either you are not very clever or you are in denial.

You ungracious Palace fans – who have turned a thread which began as a compliment to your club into a gloat-fest – should take a leaf out of our book. We give credit where it’s due – and Pulis has performed a miracle at Palace – but I have yet to see any Palace fan concede or acknowledge that Brighton & Hove Albion, given where we were a few years ago, have performed an even greater miracle simply to be in existence, never mind challenging for a place in the Premier League.

This. With big fat ****ing bells on. Pulis is a miracle worker the players have been a credit to him and the fans. The fans, as usual, are bellends.

Palace were lucky, without Pulis they would be down by now. All credit he gets is deserved, he kept a time playing badly to 11th!

Good thinking Loz a good 6-points for us next season is what we need. They do seem to be rather jibbing at it, but just rememberthat home game against Brum last season for us in front of the cameras. WE didn't really charge into the play-offs eh?

The amount of denial Albion have been in since the events of the 1980's and early 1990's is staggering to me. Your club had riots on the ground, a game that the ref had to abandon unfinished, the ref attacked by fans etc. etc.

You were in such a parlous financial state that your goalkeeper had to be sold to pay wages due, then the owners took the ONLY asset your club had, the ground, and sold it (admittedly not for what it was worth as a commercial piece of real estate) to bail you out. For that decision one of them was threatened with murder which resulted in a court case.

The Goldstone was a shambolic heap of rubble, which had never been properly equipped to cope with top-tier football when you could have afforded it in your "glory years" (1979-83). I had the pleasure (sometimes) of watching games there from all four sides, the last time on the East terrace. By then Palace had put modern stands up on 3 ot the four sides of Selhurst (though I admit the Holmesdale Stand is an abomination IMHO) and now the club is looking to replace our historic main stand at long last.

Your club would be still at Withdean without being bankrolled by ONE individual (non UK resident) who has sunk a fortune into the club. I hope for his sake that you give him a payback by getting up, and not disgracing yourselves. Certainly by antagonising opposing players like Jonny Williams, Stephen Dobbie and Poyet's SON - what did HE ever do to harm your club FFS? - you're not making your task any easier.

Really disappointed it's not Palace & Sunderland coming down whilst we're going up - that'd be heaven ................ but have to admit, Pulis worked wonders.

Have to admire your sense of reality.............about Pulis, it's about time you joined us again, just when you think you have caught us up (division wise) we move on again, I dont even think you will get the chance to play against "Gus" next season...........I think he will keep the Mackems up

Thanks Brag-town.

Its a pity you've gone all sour over some very genuine posts on here to congratulate Pulis on his achievement. Not easy for Albion fans to be so generous, but it is true and sincere. What he has done for you is exceptional and rightly deserves acknowledgement.

We could cherry pick through your Clubs chequered past and remind you of the many inglorious episodes in your history, all very tempting but this is not an occasion for it.

I'm sure we are looking forward to the day when your fans show similar class and reciprocate.

By the way IMHO even more credit ought to go to Holloway for recognising that he wasn't the answer and bailing out when he did. That cannot have been very easy and gave his successor time to turn things around.

It will be very interesting to see how next season goes and how you consolidate both on and off the pitch, it is a real golden opportunity.

Without Pulis, you might have gone down. Your record before he joined was relegation fodder. Pulis, in my opinion, is one of the best in the business at building solid teams.

So where does the luck come in? We didn't find him in a box of Frosties.
