McCammongate has about 70% of a page in the back of the times and they have even drawn a little cartoon!

Here is the link if anyone is interested....(might be a little sick of it now)

I will scan the little cartoon in tonight if anyone wants to see it.

Is all coverage good coverage???

HITS AND MISSUS: I remember listening to a phone-in during my Aston Villa days and Shaun Teale was getting a slating from the punters. He was useless, not fit to wear the shirt, etc. Then a woman rang up and gave a spirited defence of him, saying that he always wore his heart on his sleeve. Asked for her name, she replied: “Mrs Teale.”

The power of NSC, not only do the players and the manager come on here but the local and now national daily papers do too. No doubt a few Lib Dem politicians have scoured our pages, who knows, maybe even Prescott and Blair, pehaps even HM the Queen! So, do you think McCammon's a useless cockjuggler your Majesty?

After reading it again I have to say good on ya super mac. Everything he said was right and the fact that he was listening at all shows his passion. I hope he stays and gets his chance.

At least he did not get his dad to ring in!

Fair play big MAC.
I say against coventry, McGhee should play macca and instruct the midfield to get the ball out wide with the sole aim of crossing the ball at least 25 times into the box, if big mac does not get on the end of any or no chances are created then he should agree to drop down a division on loan! So simple i should become a manager, now I just need to get a professional club to let me kick a ball.

A Brighton spokesman said that he did not imagine any action would be taken against McCammon. “Fair play to the lad, he’s shown a bit of passion and clearly wants to play,” he said. “I think he was just criticising the squad as a whole, saying we were not creating enough chances.”

A welcome sign of good management at the Albion. Half of NSC were convinced he'd be SACKED.

I hope he proves us all wrong. That phone call was the first obvious sign of passion he's shown since arriving at the club.

It's funny but I wonder whether he did this without at least some of the players knowing about it, the comment from the club is very positive and wouldn't have been made without an agreement from DK and McGhee.
The point about him and Mcghee is interesting as well, it seems to me that he wants mcCammon match fit and believes Div1/2 would be the best bet where as McCammon thinks CCC. They might not see eye to eye but it doesn't look like all out war ....

A Final thought is that we need to differentiate between the player McCammon and the person McCammon and we need to remember that he and the other players have family. Whilst the players might have thick skin, their family most probably don't. Think about it, you're a player who's getting grief from the fans on NSC, you live in the area, your children go to a local school, kids in the school read NSC and ........

Far as I know it's not in any players contract that he has to take the amount s**t that McCammon has from the clubs supporters.
Also met him at childrens 'do' at the Triangle, he spent a couple of minutes listening to my 6 year ramble on and he was very attentive, nice bloke ... borderline CCC player but still a nice bloke.
