Yeah, you aim at the bit you can see, knowing you may well have a bit more leeway in certain situations as the other barrel will guide it in - thus using the barrell.

Who has gone back from the PDC to the BDO to be a success then
Martin Adams? Did nothing in the PDC, 1 semi final if i remeber and that was it, went to the BDO and won the world title. PDC is the place for darts now.

hi all
first of all i am fully commited to the pdc for many years i hope. the press asked me on how i thought i played i answerd if i dont pick things up and carry on playing like this i mayswell play bdo darts and go back to work and its been take in to a different content. we all say things we dont mean at the heat of a moment. but i will knuckel down and continue to play pdc hopefully for many years and try my upmost best. i wish jan all the best the better player won and should have finished me off before he did. but my future is with the pdc and long may it be.

You're right... you don't rely on using the barrel, or aim or it. But you can use it -I do.
Maybe the pros don't consider it, but floating a 2nd or 3rd dart when theres already one just below where your aiming is a piece of cake, no?
in that case i stand corrected, i assumed (wrongly) that when he said he was gonna learn the trade all over he was goin back to BDO.

Barney is a legend as well. It was a quality tournament with the two best players in the final. Taylor deserved to win though.
