The Strokes @ The Brighton Centre

Did anyone else go to this gig last night? I had a brilliant night out with a mate and the place really rocked. As for those worried that the band are not as good as they used to be, they really cut it last night. I have never known such a good atmosphere at a gig before. It reminded me in an odd sort of way of the North Stand in the old days, with the surging back and forward and singing our heads off. I do hope that if they redevelop the Brighton Centre, they don't do the threatened extension to Churchill Square and lose the Centre. Even if it is a bit run down, it's a fine asset to the town and a great concert venue.

Yeah they were quality. It was a well good night but just a shame I couldn't get standing tickets, 'Razor Blade' and 'Reptilia' stood out as the songs of the night for me.
