Anyone going ?.

Apart from Cornwell it is the original line up.

Jean Jacques Burnel with his thumping bass and karate kicks, if arthritis has not set in yet.

Dave Greenfield with his sweeping , majestic keyboard playing, the best keyboard player at his prime in the last 70's /early 80's.

Jet Black - must be 75 now but still getting it on.

:clap2:

I saw Hugh Cornwell a little while back in Worthing playing the Pavillion.. it was sad to see him trying to carry such great songs unacompanied on an acoustic guitar in a venue 1/4 full. I imagine that The Stranglers without Hugh is equally as sad. They should try to make up their differences or move on and stop living in the past.

I thought that until I saw them in Ottawa a couple of years ago and they were brilliant. I didn't miss Hugh at all. Do yourself a favour and get over there. I would if I could. . .

Saw then at the Brighton centre in 1985 and they were it bit embarrassing then to be honest.

I did not think that Jet Black would make it through the gig so I would be surprised if he is still going some 25 years later.

Each to ther own. Hope you enjoy if you do manage to get to the gig

Jet Black is 71. You have to admire that.

Saw Cornwell do an acoustic set a while back. Very good, small arena, he was able to slag off the idiot who asked him to do Golden Brown!!!

Isn't Dave Greenfield a Brighton boy?
