When ESU was built my family and I moved up there. It was only a season or two into it when the roof leaked and the rain ran along the girders and stopped right above me and seats either side were dry, I was constantly dripped on. I hope it has been fixed. Although tbf, when the Amex opened we were in ESL row H, right on the drip line and soaked in the rain!

Oh wowza that looks so dull, just like every other big ground.

This sounds a fascinating project, as long as the ground isn't financed by tax payers, which Burnham has said it won't be. Old Trafford is a really interesting stadium, in many ways it's incredible, in others it's a shit heap. But it's got amazing history and identity. That just looks like any other massive bowl. What a waste
