We have discussed two tone before I suspect.

I recall seeing the Specials and Madness at the top rank (not together I don't think), The Selector (they came a long a bit later), and I think it was The Specials at a Brighton student venue where there was a lot of trouble. Start of the rise of NF skins, albeit there was a lot of RAR too, thankfully.

Thank you for the heads up,some great memories of worthing assembly rooms 1980c.Got of the train at worthing to be met by 40 maybridge skinheads outside the central hotel, luckily i knew them from the south stand my mates in parkas didn't and legged it.

What a contrast between The Specials of 1980 and 2021. It was sad seeing Terry sitting there and saying he'd loved lockdown, knowing what happened next.

I was there. Interesting atmosphere in the assembly hall. I’d just had a new trim and sporting my best Fred Perry.
