Yeah, I liked them a lot. Got to say though that I saw Morrisey on Johnathan Ross' show earlier and he is the most strangest, miserable person I've ever seen. He hates everybody and everything. Says that the only thing in life that he does now is listen to music all day. Not the sort of person you'd want to be stuck in a lift with!!
Smiths did make some good records though.

That's Mozza!
Love him or hate him!
The bloke is a star.
In the NME this week it states that the Mexican street gang culture kids have took a bit of a shine to him. I don't know exactly why.....
His L.A. shows were sold out. His Manchester gig at the M.E.N. Arena sold out in 90 mins.

Great band great songs great lyrics. songs like "asleep" will live forever as classics. Fantastic irony in his songs.

I rate them.

Morrisey has real talent, but on Jonathan Ross earlier he came across as a total tosspot & I will download his allbum now instead of buying it.

I actuallt prefer solo Morrissey (1992 and later, once he lost the self-pity and started to get a bit more angry) to the Smiths, though of course they are great.

I'm not interested in Morrissey the person. I'm sure he's no saint.
