reckon you've put about 5 time more thought in that post than the reporter writing the article. Is that the ratio of items stolen to items sold?
Or the ratio of items stolen to items available to buy?
Or the total number of items stolen?
Or the total number of items stolen corrected for the total population?
Or the total number of items stolen corrected for the total population of chavvy teenagers?
If the latter I would expect it to be one of the lowers.
Unless there is a population of deviant geriatrics living in Worthing
Or it could all be a sampling error.
And I spent a full two minutes doing so.reckon you've put about 5 time more thought in that post than the reporter writing the article.
If the latter I would expect it to be one of the very highest.
I must admit, I had Crawley as favouriteFrom article..
Worthing ranks first on the list with the highest shoplifting rates in the UK, with 23.2 incidents per 1,000 residents. Crawley ranks sixth with 16.6 incidents per 1,000 residents.
I think they got the decimal point in the wrong place for Crawley. If you are outside the County Mall on some days you can see the cops haling them out like its a Millwall crowd.
Well, if people will leave something lying around, the Graham Road massive will have it away.Overspill from LA?
Worthing is referred to in the article but one of the pictures shows the co-op in Shoreham?
It’s all those ‘old’ people ..nothing better to do….it’ll pop up on the ‘Retirement‘ thread soon, as a suggestion when taking up a new hobbyI wonder why Worthing?
