In the interview on the official site Brez says: "I had some information about one of the Wrexham penalty takers and I saved his penalty".

Just heard that the info came from CMS, who had seen Dean Keates taking penalties while they were at Peterborough together. Well done Craig ... let's hope he can share some more info ahead of Saturday's clash with the POsh too! :)

Shame we can't get Steve Harper back for the Newcastle game. On that evidence he'd save all their pens!

We must never sell CMS otherwise he might disclose info about our penalty takers...

Begs the question why we've had such a shocking record of penalties awarded during league games in the last season or two, when we stuck those away so confidently, and so technically correctly, last night.

I was thinking that too, have we ever lost a penatly shoot out, 4 I can think of we won, Wrexham, FC Utd, Man City, Swindon....and yet last season during open play how many pens did we miss? 9 was it?

I suppose two of the culprits: Murray and Bennett have since left us (and disn't Wood miss one too last season?) ... and Barnes was the only one who seemed to tuck them away well.

Wood had a better record than Barnes, I think. Just going from memory, I think Wood scored 3 of 4. Barnes scored 3 of 5, but followed up one of his misses so 4 of his 5 penalties resulted in goals (every other penalty saved was pushed wide or held and no follow up was possible for them).

Our record without barnes taking penalties in the league is still bad. Though, it's only one penalty this year (harley).
