The Seafield, Hove

why is it shit?! it's not in a bad area at all.....every other pub around there is fine

That's the thing though, they're not. Weatherspoons, dump. Misty's, wank. The Albion, dump. The Bell looks slightly better now it's had a lick of paint but it's the same old ROUGHIANS that drink in there.

If going local I'll walk literally 30 seconds to the Sussex, or cross the road to the Alibi (which is quite good again now they've re-started showing football).

Should go for a pint in the Red Lion. Nicer atmosphere than the Sussex, though you can't beat the prices in the Sussex. They've also started doing food.

There's a new place called Purple Moon which has just opened where the Arrogant Frog used to be. I've been past a few times and it has been totally empty. It's a cafe bar in the Misty's vein and is really dark, sparse and uninviting inside.

I do have a softspot for The Neptune though.

Looks nice, will have to give it a go. The Sussex hasn't always got the nicest crowd in there, but at £1.59 a pint on a Monday you put up with it!

What sort of food are they doing? They used to knock-out a few pizzas. I presume it's a bit more than this now?
