Ah Sensible Software, what cracking games they made. My tactics were very simple, buy a very nippy forward - worked a treat.

Thought that website name sounded familar (the one with the interview, eurogamer.net), it's run by a lad from Brighton and my old neighbour (his mate) works for it.
