It’s a pub ffs. Stuck up pompous twats shouldn’t be allowed in pubs. They should stick to their craft beers and growing their hipster beards.

I can see ‘any port in a storm’ but why go in a pub that serves crap beer. You wouldn’t go in a restaurant that does crap food.

The Albert is deceiving . Looks big from the outside but cramped inside. Not keen on the ales in there. The only good thing about the place are the benches outside on a nice day.

If it's a lively match then i will use the Bell. If not the Battle of Trafalgar is my 1st call

Spence, really....?

You say that you're not keen on 'The ales' in The Albert , yet you'll go to The Bell?

The Albert has a great selection on rotation, and I've never had a bad one yet, in many a year.

Do you really mean that you haven't heard of the names before?

Ever been to Brentford away and been in the pubs surrounding Griffin Park?

Not really against London Pride as such and back in the day it was up there. It’s just things have moved on now and I want something better than what Fullers turn out. It’s just a case of each to their own I guess.
Have been to those pubs you mention bn9 and met Stan Bowles in one. He was rat arsed. Probably enjoyed the Pride back then.

I've been a regular in the railway for the last 40 years and it's always been consistent.

I go in regularly every 10 years and it's always shit. Why anyone would go there when there are at least half a dozen reasonable pubs within 400 yards is anybodys guess

Very much this.

If people like Pride, Doombar, Harvey's etc then great.

They can like Fosters, Carslberg, Miller lite also, no problems with it, whatsoever.

I just think it's a shame because there really is better available, and by better, I mean 100 % better.:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

I do indeed, but as you, I'll always remember the dark days, whatever the colour of the 'beer'.

It was always thus.

Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me.....

Now I always like a bit of medium rare rump! I know it's not right but it's what I like and it's my money

Shouldn't everybody have that right

I think London Pride is ok in Fullers pubs especially around that area, I actually prefer Fullers beers to Harvey's * runs and takes cover  but I have had a few dodgy pints of Pride in non Fullers pubs.

I would always take a good pint of a not very good beer over a not very good pint of a good beer (I think ???)
